The goal of this project was to find a product with a poor package design and create a better design for it. For my product, I chose powdered bleach since its original design looked outdated, unoriginal, and boring. To find a solution, I first needed to understand all the information that powdered bleach needs to communicate to consumers and then research existing brands to know my competition. In the end, I decided to add generally more appealing and well designed elements. Instead of a solid, blue background, I added a texture to make it more eye-catching. I pushed the laundry image even further to be more distinguishable as towels and I added the duck on top of the towels to stand out more to the consumer.
